Everything encompasses a healthy lifestyle including your mental health. So, let's face it, when my baby is happy; I'm happy! This is why I frequently blog about being a parent also. If you are a new parent like me some of the things I've found useful may be for you as well...or they may not and that's OK too. All babies are different.
My son has been teething and this seems to go on forever. At his 6 month appointment the doctor could see a tooth coming in and it's two and a half months later and there's still no tooth. When we got back from our trip our son was in rare form. He was extremely fussy and wouldn't let me put him down (now I credit this to separation anxiety) but he kept stuffing my hands, my face, his hands into his mouth with such vigor. He's never been so aggressive about putting things into his mouth. For a moment I was unsure as to whether he had a sore throat or he was teething because I heard from other mom's that this can be a sign of a sore throat. He was the same way on Monday but not as constant about shoving something into his mouth. This leads me to my saving grace because I didn't want to keep giving him Tylenol...Earth's Best Teething Biscuits. Our son doesn't seem to care for any of the teething rings we have put in the fridge but he loves these teething biscuits! He kept chewing on them so forcefully that I could tell he loved them. Just be careful because if they put too much of it in their mouths it will break off and a portion of the biscuit may still be harder in their mouths which can cause them to gag.
